Howdy!
My name is Sydney, and I'm a character animator and recent graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design’s Computer Animation program!
While I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'm also a Canadian citizen and as such can work in either country. I've always strived to make this world a little brighter and love using animation as a way to bring humor and joy into other's lives. Things really kicked off for me in high school when I had an idea about a vegan T-rex and decided to make an animated film all by myself, which then went on to be nominated in the Teen Animation Festival International. After that, I knew there was no other career for me- this was my true calling! Since then I've had several internships in the animation industry and was awarded an honorable mention for the Women In Animation scholarship in 2024, as well as having my thesis film chosen for the Best Of Ringling awards and several film festivals worldwide. I love to contribute to projects that encourage audiences to laugh, smile and escape reality- even just for a short time- and am passionate about bringing life to characters and creating appealing and humorous stories. I love what I do and can't wait to see where the future takes me!
